Arterial Clearance Therapy

Treatment for Blocked Arteries

For Most Cases, There ARE Alternatives to Bypass Surgery and Angioplasty for the Treatment of Blocked Arteries – Please Don’t Wait Till You Don’t Have the Time to Find Out What Your Options Are.

We at IPC (Institute of Preventive Cardiology) Heart Care Center, Mumbai, are not against bypass surgery or coronary angioplasty per se. There are indeed cases that warrant cardiac surgeries, and we ourselves definitely make it a practice to suggest them to patients who are in immediate danger of heart attacks or cardiac arrests. However, we would like to make people who have coronary arterial blockages, their loved ones, and people in general, aware that there are effective non-surgical options available for coronary artery disease treatment, for most cases.

The profiles of the patients who come to us are as varying as that of any cardiac clinic or cardiologist. However, most of our cardiac patients fall into one of the following categories:

  1. Those who Cardiologists describe as not having enough artery blockage to justify surgery but may have symptoms of atherosclerosis like angina, shortness of breath, etc;
  2. Those who have already had one or even multiple angioplasties and / or bypass surgeries, with not much relief from symptoms or a return of symptoms and blockages;
  3. Those who have been recommended surgery by their Cardiologist but are looking for non-surgical / non-invasive treatments for arterial blockages, calcified arteries.

Perhaps some would expect us to say that we are most careful with heart patients who fall under category ‘2’ or ‘3’, but each of our patients is treated with the utmost individualized care, and not typecast into any category. Of course, there are times when we have felt that we actually concur with a Cardiologist’s opinion that surgery is required, in which event we do our utmost to convince the patient of the need for this. But, more often than not, we are confident that IPC’s non-surgical approach to heart disease will reap benefits that go beyond heart surgeries like bypass and angioplasty, and without the risks of surgery.

IPC’s Approach

IPC specializes in Artery Clearance Therapy (ACT), which is a non-invasive treatment to prevent and reverse heart diseases and many other vascular diseases. Arterial Clearance Therapy generally includes Chelation Therapy(CT), administering of Anti-oxidants, and Lifestyle Management. IPC also offers EECP (Enhanced External Counter Pulsation), and a host of other supplementary natural treatments for reversing factors that contribute to heart disease.

IPC is India’s largest chain of clinics offering comprehensive preventive cardiology services and effective non-invasive treatment options for coronary artery disease, including coronary arterial / artery blockage, artery calcification, atherosclerosis, etc.

Treatments IPC Heart Care Center Offers

Besides atherosclerosis treatments, IPC also specializes in state-of-the-art non-invasive diagnostic tests for heart disease. So, if you feel you have symptoms of heart disease, or just want a check-up because of a family history of a heart ailment, please feel free to get in touch with us. We will be glad to help. We also have a lot of prevention strategies that we are happy to share with anyone who is worried about heart disease striking them.

Why ACT? Because…

ACT (Arterial Clearance Therapy) has been proven to increase blood flow throughout the body. ACT not only works towards clearing the main arteries, but also improves blood-flow to smaller capillaries. No other therapy or arterial treatment does this.

ACT has been reported to relieve angina pain, forestall heart attacks, improve blood cholesterol ratios, lower blood fats, reduce blood pressure, heal ulcers caused by poor circulation, and strokes.

ACT reverses atherosclerosis and can prevent heart attacks in many patients.

ACT is about 90% successful i.e. 90 out of 100 patients treated with ACT improve. Results vary from patient to patient depending on the disease process.

ACT (Arterial Clearance Therapy) is recognized by the National Health Services in England. It is practiced by about 1500 clinics in America and also by many in England, France, Germany, Australia, Switzerland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, etc.
