Prof Balasaheb Kholam

The following is the angiograph of Mr. Balasaheb Kholam, a professor of Chemistry in Gyan Sadhana College at Thane:

Prof. Kholam was advised immediate bypass surgery in a major hospital where he was admitted with his second heart attack in Nov 2004.With his previous history of heart attack just two years before i.e. in Aug 2002 his pumping of the heart was barely reduced to 25% (normally 60%) making him a high-risk heart patient. His anxious wife had approached IPC for treatment and even I had advised that such a critical case should undertake bypass surgery as a treatment of first choice. However the Prof. Took discharge from the hospital against medical advise and gave me a blanket consent that he is responsible for anything which go wrong with him and asked me to start his treatment. I was speechless and amazed by the confidence and will power of Prof. Khollam and took upon the challenge to treat him. Amazingly with chelation after 20 sittings his stress test was negative, his pumping of the heart improved to 50% and he started walking almost 1 hour daily. His repeat CT Coronary Angiogram showed reversal in the blockages of the LAD artery from 90% to 50%. Now he is our 'Commander in Chief' as I respectfully call him of our Healthy Heart Association, an organization formed by heart patients working for creating awareness amongst the heart patients in the community.
