Dr Pratiksha is the Founder and Chairperson of IPC Heart Care Center. To address growing concern of the silent epidemic, which is afflicting millions, she has started an NGO 'Institute of Preventive Cardiology Foundation' which has launched a National program to prevent and reverse heart disease.

 
She has also met India’s Hon. Ex. President Shri. A.P. J. Kalam in the year 2006 for initiating this campaign at national level through support of government.
 
For her outstanding original contribution work in the field of Preventive Cardiology and Non – invasive cardiac treatments, she was felicitated as ‘Best Woman Entrepreneur of the year 2005-06’ by Hon. Finance Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram.
     
 
Film star Akshay Kumar ‘Good Heart Ambassador’ of IPC has been very active in campaigning for prevention of heart diseases. In spite of his all busy work schedule, he had himself conceived campaign on Star Gold for World Heart Day Celebration. He has appeared in many talks and interviews in print and electronic media to promote the concept of Preventive Cardiology.
 
Institute of Preventive Cardiology Foundation has launched National Program on Control & Prevention of Heart Disease at ‘Birla Matushri Sabhagar’ on 26 Jan 2006 in presence of Honorable Ex. Dean of K.E.M. Hospital, Padmabhushan, Dr. G. B. Parulekar & Mr. Jagannathrao Hegde (Ex .Sheriff Mumbai)

Dr Pratiksha presented clinical research paper in First International EECP meet held in 2006 at China, where more than 400 EECP Therapist from all over the World had participated. Dr Pratiksha as a Guest Speaker in first International ECP symposium held in Guangzhou, China on 13th and 14th of May 2006.
     
 
Dr Pratiksha Invited as a Guest speaker on ‘Role of EECP in treatment of heart patients’ in the National Conference on Indian EECP Registry held at Chennai on 21st July 2007 and also in the Expert Committee who will frame the guidelines to the cardiologist community to use the EECP treatment effectively to the needy patients.
 
Dr Pratiksha the founder member of IPER Registry. IPER is an Organization to support EECP providers with advanced Clinical Support.
     
 
Dr. Pratiksha has been trained in Enhanced External Counter Pulsations (EECP) at Vaso Medical Inc. USA and IPC Heart Care Centre is also in technical collaboration with the same. Dr. Pratiksha with Dr. John Hui, Medical Director, Vaso Medical Inc., USA
 
Dr Pratiksha is also the author of ‘Bypassing Bypass Surgery’ along with Dr. Elmer Cranton from Harvard Medical school USA, which was released recently by Hon. Public Health Minister Smt. Vimalatai Mundadaji on 6 Apr 2007.

Dr. Pratiksha has written a book in Marathi called ‘Bypassla Paryay’ published by Rajhansa Publication. Also received ‘Karmavir Bhaurao Patil’ award by State Government for this book on 18th Jan 2009.
     
 
Dr. Pratiksha with Miss India 2008 Miss Parvathy Omanakuttan who was felicitated by Shree Vidyadhiraja Educational and Charitable Trust (SVECT) on 31st August 08 for her Noble work in the field of Preventive Cardiology and Non Surgical Cardiac treatments.
 
30 Sept 2008: September 30 is World Heart Day and the theme this year is to team up for healthy hearts. And hence, stars descended that day at The Institute of Preventive Cardiology (IPC) Foundation, a pioneering NGO under India's first woman Preventive Cardiologist Dr Pratiksha Reeg Deb to curb growing epidemic of silent killer disease -- Heart Attack
